Workforce Training Fund - General Program Training Grants

Grants of up to $250,000, funded by the Massachusetts employer community, are available to businesses to use to pay for training current and newly hired workers. Learn more

Economic Development Incentive Program (EDIP)

Participating companies may receive state and local tax incentives in exchange for job creation, job retention, and private investment commitments. Learn more

Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MassTech)

The Massachusetts Manufacturing Innovation Initiative (M2I2) provides capital cost shares for projects and discovery centers located in Massachusetts as part of the state's ongoing commitment to the federal government's Manufacturing USA program. Learn more

Research & Development Tax Credit

Designed to remove any obstacles to R&D investment, and to help spur growth and innovation throughout the Commonwealth. Learn more

Investment Tax Credit (ITC)

A 3% credit for qualifying businesses against their Massachusetts corporate excise tax. Learn more

Tax Credit For Hiring Program

A federal incentive that employers can receive for hiring individuals from certain target groups. Learn more

Single Sales Factor

Massachusetts' Single Sales Factor tax apportionment significantly reduces the tax burden for manufacturers and other qualifying companies, adding to the attractive tax environment for manufacturers in Massachusetts. Learn more

No Personal Property Tax

Corporations classified as manufacturers by the Department of Revenue are exempt from personal property tax on manufacturing equipment and machinery. Learn more

Life Science Tax Incentive Program

Tax incentives for companies engaged in life sciences research and development, commercialization, and manufacturing in Massachusetts. Learn more

Massachusetts STEP Program

Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development (EOHED) – MassWorks Infrastructure Program
